Thank you so much for providing this addendum.This is information, not horribly detailed, of the various houses (families) that the reader will encounter in Ms. Le Veque's stories. If you are a fan who desires reading most or all of her books this is invaluable.
You are given information on major and minor houses, the books they appear in, and the main hero and heroine, and in some cases their children.

I have been reading this author's books every time I find one. She is remarkable in her writings. She writes with such passion. Her romance in each book is written well and does not go into graphic detail like other authors do. Drama is life like. This book is a great guide that connects some of the novels. It could be confusing if one has not read any of her novels.
A truly must-have for every Kathryn Le Veque fan. This is the perfect guide when diving into KLV's medieval worlds. So many houses intertwine, so many mentions and crossovers among KLV's many, many books, one could easily get lost in the melee of knights, ladies, battles, chargers, destriers, and castles. Resist the urge to draw family trees, grab this book instead.
This is the most important book to have. I wish that other authors did similar to their books that are series that go over several years or centuries. I really love to read and with my books if a character catches my attention to have remembered them from being previously read it would have me going to all my books to find and then I would reread the book to catch up.
I had already been keeping a list of Kathryn le Veques books as to check off as I get them there I would add the year of the setting and the main characters so welcome across a name I would note it to where they are related ,friend's or just acquaintances. I always put my books in an order of year or way to read them.
With this book Kathryn le Veques has saved time in me having to flip through all my hardback, my kindle list and even surfing to read the synopsis of each of her books.
So, if anything this book is a "gold mine" to faithful, loyal and true fans of Kathryn le Veques. And importantly to the new readers of medieval history Kathryn le Veques gives so much insight into the times of the period that are so real that you can see how true the lifestyle was back then. Her books are so hard to put down and once read you need to get another to read, this has been what happened to me since I started reading "The Wolfe" I have now finished ,the Beast" and can not wait to start another one....
This guide is wonderful to help understand all the history in the Le Veque stories! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the lack of corresponding dates with the book titles to help the reader link the houses/family connections. I am hoping that future updates to this guide might include the dates or approximate time periods.
The Kathryn Le Veque series of medieval romances generally features a beautiful, intelligent, headstrong and brave woman, and a handsome, square-jawed, broad-shouldered, famous warrior. After several chapters of antagonism, the two connect and face the world. Once the reader accepts the structure, the reader can concentrate on and enjoy the descriptions of scenery, clothes, food, fighting, and life at various strata of society. Always entertaining. Actually, Le Veque has created several dynasties and pursues these many families through their lives and generations.
I have changed my rating stars and my opinion because I have purchased New books of Kathryn Le Veque that have just been published but there is no update. I would like the newly published books to be added to the guide.
This a fantastic guide for fans of the KLV world. I love the chronological list but one hiccup I found. I read Devil's Dominion first according to the list. It start with the hero at five years old and then takes up the story and challenge about 25 years later. Ajax de velt' s reign of terror starts in 1180 and The Dark Lord should be read first. Devil's Dominion can be understood better if you read The Dark Lord first.
KLV' s books are stand alone. But it's so much more fun to read about the cross over characters when they interact in multiple books set the same era.
This small handbook is a perfect help to readers.
